Drugs seized during police raids
Police in Newtownabbey have seized cannabis and drug paraphernalia during a planned search operation in the Rathcoole Estate on the outskirts of north Belfast.
The raids were part of the Newtownabbey Community Responsive Campaign against drug use in the area, carried out under the 'Misuse of Drugs act.'
A PSNI spokesperson said that detectives raided four homes in the area as well as carrying out searches of a large part of the surrounding area.
It was confirmed that no arrests were made during the operation, which is understood to be in connection with serious crime.

Third Teen Arrested Over Girl's Death
A third teenager has been arrested following the sudden death of a 15-year-old girl in Portadown. Caitlin White died in hospital after she fell unconscious in the Corcrain area on Saturday, 20 May. A 15-year-old boy was detained on Tuesday, 23 May.

Two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old girl died in Portadown on Saturday, 20 May. The girl, who has been named locally as Caitlin White, died after falling unconscious in the Corcain area. Police are investigating a "possible drugs link". The 19-year-old and 17-year-old have been detained in police custody.
