Woman seriously injured in RTC

A woman has been taken to hospital following a road traffic incident in the Moneyreagh area of County Antrim this afternoon.

Police have revealed that a car and a lorry were involved in the collision, which happened just before 1.30pm.

The Hillsborough Road has been closed to traffic between the Tullyhubbert Road and the junction of the Clomtomaclly Road, and police expect the area to be closed for some time.

On Tuesday afternoon the injured woman's condition was described as serious.
