Child injured in west Belfast hit and run
Police in west Belfast have appealed for information following a hit and run incident yesterday afternoon.
At around 4.15pm, a white Vauxhall Vectra, registration number RBZ 7510, was in collision with a 10-year-old boy on the Lenadoon Avenue area of the city.
The driver of the vehicle then ran away from the scene.
The child was taken to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries and was later discharged.
Detectives have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information in relation to it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police in Newry have appealed for information after an officer was injured in a hit and run incident this afternoon. Detectives have said that the officer was struck by a lorry, which failed to stop at a vehicle checkpoint in Meigh in south Armagh, just before 1pm.

Police are appealing for information following a hit and run incident in west Belfast. The incident happened on the Suffolk Road on Friday, 15 September. The PSNI are seeking to trace a silver or grey car that was involved in the collision. A pedestrian was injured and had to receive hospital treatment.
