Police search for gang of robbers
Police are searching for a three-man gang who are believed to be responsible for three robberies in under an hour.
At around 6pm yesterday, three men entered a service station at Nutts Corner, on the Belfast Road in County Antrim and threatened staff.
They escaped with a sum of money in a blue coloured Honda Civic car, which had been reported as stolen earlier in the day.
The robbers are said to be wearing hooded tops and dark coloured glasses.
Later at 6.30pm, three men are reported to have robbed a petrol station just outside Moira on the Glenavy Road in County Down, approximately 13 miles away.
A third incident was reported just before 7pm, when three men also robbed a post office at Carlisle Circus, north Belfast.
A police spokesman has confirmed that they believe all three incidents to be linked and have appealed for anyone with any information on either of the robberies, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Newry pensioner targeted by robbers
Police in Newry have appealed for information following the robbery of a pensioner last night. Three men forced their way into the elderly woman's home in the Patrick Street area of the city at around 7pm. The robbers ransacked rooms before making off with an undisclosed sum of money. The woman has been left badly shaken by her ordeal.

Three men sought in Belfast jewellers robbery
Detectives in Musgrave Street are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a jewellers shop in south Belfast. Shortly after 9.30am on Monday morning, three men, one armed with a handgun, entered the shop on the Lisburn Road and threatened staff. They then stole a quantity of diamond rings worth an estimated £150,000.

Father and son injured during robbery
A father and son have been treated in hospital after they were injured during a robbery at their Monaghan Road home outside Armagh last night. Shortly after 8.30pm, three masked men who were armed with a seven-inch-long boning knife, handgun and sledgehammer entered the house while the father and son were watching television.

Police appeal for information following Co Down robberies
Police have appealed for information following what is thought to be two connected burglaries in County Down last night. In the first incident, a 30-year-old man and his father were left traumatised after three men entered their house in Warrenpoint just before 7.30pm.

Man arrested after armed robbery
One man has been arrested following an armed robbery at a petrol station in north Belfast last night. At around 9pm, two men armed with a knife and a handgun entered the petrol station on the Doagh Road in Mossley, Newtownabbey, and demanded money. They threatened a member of staff and were given a small amount of cash.
