Mother denies infant's murder
A 34-year-old Fermanagh woman has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of her baby last week.
Wendy Johnston from Spruce Hill in Irvinestown denied a charge of killing her newborn infant.
The body of the baby boy was discovered in a house in the Spruce Hill area of Irvinestown last Thursday.
A detective said that Ms Johnston had received medical supervision during questioning.
Appearing at Strabane Magistrates Court in County Tyrone, she was remanded in custody until March 27.

Life sentence for man who murdered uncle
A man has been sentenced to life in jail for stabbing his uncle to death despite allegations that he had been the victim of sexual abuse in the past. Thomas Ian McQuade, 32 told Belfast Crown Court that he murdered 59-year-old Joseph McQuade at his home in Comber as an act of revenge because he had been sexually abused by his uncle.

Nelson Watson, 59, from Clanmorris Street in the Tiger's Bay area of the city, is accused of the murder of 42-year-old Barbara Taggart, who is understood to have died after a fire in his flat, on Saturday night.
