Police reveal name of murdered Irvinestown man

Police have today revealed the name of the County Fermanagh man who was murdered in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The man was 39-year-old Stephen Francis Robinson from the Cullaghmore Road area of Irvinestown.

Police were alerted to the scene by a telephone call at around 3.25am on Wednesday and arrested a man and a woman.

A short time later, a third person was also arrested in connection with the murder.

A police forensic team carried out an investigation on the scene of the incident yesterday afternoon, and believe the murder to be of a domestic nature.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police are appealing for assistance and information on the whereabouts of a Cookstown man who went missing 5 years ago. Daron McReynolds was last seen in November 2001 and despite extensive investigations he has never been found.

Funeral Of Murdered Former Dissident To Be Held
The funeral of murdered former dissident republican Tommy Crossan is to be held today. Mr Crossan was shot dead on Good Friday while sitting in a hut at a fuel business he owned off the Springfield Road in west Belfast.
