Man assaulted in Ballymena attack
Police in Ballymena have appealed for information following an assault in the town last night.
The man was walking along the Broughshane Road, close to the rugby club, when the attack took place.
A van pulled up alongside the victim and bundled him inside, where he was then assaulted.
Detectives in Ballymena have asked for anyone who may have seen a dirty coloured Transit type van with two men onboard between the times of 10pm and 11pm, to contact them.
The van is also believed to have an MKZ or NKZ registration and a double ladder roof rack.
Anyone with any information should contact police on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man assaulted by gang of five
Police in County Antrim have appealed for information following an assault in Ballymena, yesterday evening. A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital after being attacked by up to five males, close to the Larne link Road, near the Ballykeel roundabout, at around 6pm.

Detectives in County Antrim have appealed for information after a woman was assaulted earlier today. The incident happened at around 7am, when a woman was confronted by four men as she made her way along a laneway from Ballee to the Pennybridge industrial estate in Ballymena.
