Three men held hostage during overnight robbery
Three men have been held hostage during a robbery in Londonderry on Sunday night.
Four men, who were armed and wearing masks, forced their way into the house in the Argyle Street area of the city, and held the men hostage overnight.
Yesterday morning, two of the hostages were taken from the house the third was ordered to go to his place of employment and take a sum of cash.
He then left the money at a pre-arranged drop off point, before raising the alarm.
The two other victims were later found by police in Gortnaskea Wood, near Burnfoot in County Donegal.
Police in Derry have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity or vehicles in Argyle Street on Sunday night or Monday morning, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police are continuing to probe the latest of Northern Ireland's so-called 'Tiger Kidnap' robberies, where a loved one is held hostage to force the victim to hand over property or money. The scene of an aggravated robbery near Lisburn, in which a man and woman were tied up, has been revisited by the PSNI who today reiterated what happened last week.

Pair held hostage in west Belfast
Police are investigating an incident in which a man and his daughter were held hostage in west Belfast earlier this morning. Between 7am and 7.15am, three masked men entered a property in the St Agnes' area of Andersonstown, and held a man and his daughter hostage, while ordering his wife to go to her place of work.

North Belfast family held hostage
A north Belfast family have been held hostage by an armed and masked gang. The incident happened shortly after 5am yesterday morning, when three men – one armed with a handgun, broke into the family home in the Fortwilliam Park area of the city and held the family – a man, and woman and their six-year-old twin girls, at gunpoint until 9am.

Family Held Hostage In Robbery
Two members of the same family have been held hostage during a robbery in west Belfast. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning (5 January). It is understood the family were tricked into letting a man, who had been disguised as a postman, into their home. He then produced a gun and demanded money.
