Baby threatened during Fermanagh robbery
A one-year-old child has been grabbed from his mother and threatened during a robbery at his home in Co. Fermanagh.
The intruder had called to the house on the Corameen Road, Kinawley, claiming to be from NIE and asking to check an electrical fault.
The woman told him that she was unaware of any problem, when the man burst into her home and demanded cash.
The woman handed over £20 but the man demanded more and grabbed the baby and threatened to hurt him if the mother did not provide it.
He then sprayed cleaning fluid in front of the baby's walker before ransacking the house.
He eventually escaped in a white van in the direction of Swanlinbar.
The man is described as being in his 40s, about 5' 4" tall and of medium build.
He had short dark hair and three rings on his left hand. He wore a black leather jacket, jeans and black boots and spoke with a southern accent.
Police have appealed for anyone with any information on the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

He made off with a sum of cash. The man, believed to be around 20 years old, is described as 5’ 10” tall and he was wearing a black tracksuit and a black cap.

The 56-year-old woman was alone in her home in Boyd Avenue, Kircubbin, when three men in their 20s entered the house around 10:30pm on Monday night. One of the men was armed with a baseball bar and threatened the woman.
