Man arrested following east Belfast stabbing
Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a stabbing in the Mount area of East Belfast.
The victim, a 42-year-old man, sustained a stab wound to the chest and was taken to hospital where his description is described as "serious but stable."
The attack occurred at around 8.20am on Monday.
The area where the attack took place was cordoned off for a time as detectives examined the area.
Police have yet to establish a motive for the attack and have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.

Investigation Launched After Man Found Dead In Co Fermanagh
Police have launched an investigation following the unexplained death of a 32-year-old man in Co Fermanagh. The man died at a house in the Lisbellaw area, according to the PSNI. A 33-year-old man was also arrested at the property on suspicion of suspected Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Man Shot In Co Tyrone
A man has been arrested following a shooting incident on Cookstown, Co Tyrone. A 33-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being shot in his foot in the Queens Avenue area shortly after 3.25am on Saturday. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police recovered a firearm and a 57-year-old man remains in custody.
