Pharmacy burgled in Warrenpoint
Police have warned members of the public to be vigilant following the theft of 80 boxes of temazepam tablets from a pharmacy in Warrenpoint.
The burglary was reported just after 1am on Sunday after thieves gained entry to the Church Street store by removing a window at the rear of the premises.
The robbers opened a safe and removed the drugs, which have the brand names IVAX and APS, they also made off with an undisclosed sum of money.
Detectives have warned that these tablets should only be taken under medical supervision and are urging anyone who knows the whereabouts of the drugs or is offered them from an unusual source to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Drugs Seized During Search In South Belfast
Police have seized drugs during a search in the Carryduff area of south Belfast on Tuesday, 13 June. A large amount of white powder, suspected to be a Class A drug, was discovered, as well as a liquid substance and orange powder, believed to be illegal drugs, were also found. The PSNI also seized fake tablets, scales, ampoules and rolls of labels.

A Newtownabbey man has been handed a custodial sentence for a series of drugs offences following police raids as part of a paramilitary probe. 49-year-old William Axon will serve two years imprisonment, half in custody and half on licence.

Thousands Of Tablets Seized In Post For East Belfast
A 26-year-old man has been arrested after thousands of suspected Diazepam, Xanax and Lyrica tablets, believed to be for distribution in east Belfast, were seized by the police. The tablets were intercepted by the PSNI in postal packages on Thursday, 01 December. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Tens Of Thousands Of Illegally Imported Drugs Seized In NI
Tens of thousands of illegally imported drugs and medicines have been seized in Northern Ireland. Operation Pangea IX, which took place between 30 May and 07 June, involved 103 countries. As part of Operation Pangea IX, multiple packages containing around 90,000 tablets and injections for addresses throughout NI were intercepted.
