Weekend road victim named

Police have released the name of a 44-year old man who was killed in a road traffic incident at the weekend.

Jim Donaghy, from the Donegal Road area of South Belfast, died after the motorbike he was driving was in collision with a car on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened at around 2.30pm in the Temple area of

Carryduff.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.

Pensioner Left 'Very Shaken' Following Burglary In L'Derry
A pensioner has been left "very shaken" after being threatened with a screwdriver during an aggravated burglary in L'Derry. The incident happened at a house in the Maple Road area, Coshquin, between 10pm and 10,30pm on Friday, 12 May, however the victim was unable to raise the alarm until Saturday morning.
