Family home attacked by arsonists in Derry

A Protestant family, whose home was attacked last night in Derry, said that their home has been the subjected to over one hundred sectarian attacks.

Four members of the Jackson family, including three children, were in their house in the Fountain estate area of the city, at the time of the attack, however no one was injured.

Some scorch damage was caused to the exterior of the family home after a device hit the porch at around 9.30pm on Wednesday evening.

Arsonists Attack Woman's Home In L'Derry
An arson attack has occurred on a pensioner's home in L'Derry. Flammable liquid was poured through the letterbox of the property in Camelia Court and set on fire on Monday. The woman, 70, was able to put out the fire, however scorch damage was caused to a door. A gang of youths attacked police as they attended the incident.

Muslim family endure attack on family home
A gang of around ten men has targeted the County Armagh home of a Muslim family in what is thought to have been a racially motivated attack. The attack occurred at around 2.30am on Saturday morning when the family were at home in their house in the Enniskeen area of Craigavon.

Gardaí Preparing File On IRA Man Rape Allegations
Gardaí are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) over allegations that an IRA member from Northern Ireland raped two males in Co Louth in the 1990s. Paudie McGahon, 40, has alleged that he was raped by an unnamed IRA man, in his bedroom at his family home, when he was aged 17.

Police Appeal Following Burglary In Ahoghill
Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in Ahoghill on Tuesday, 12th November. Police received a report that the back door of a house on the Ballymena Road was forced open shortly before 6pm.
