Pipe bomb attack on Ballymena family home
A Ballymena family have escaped injury following a pipe bomb attack on their home.
The house in the Dunvale area of Ballymena was attacked at around 1.30am on Monday morning.
A mother, her 22-year-old son, and her 17-year-old daughter were uninjured in the second attack on the house in side five weeks.
The door of the property was seriously damaged in the blast that also caused damage to the interior of the house.
Police said that a motive for the attack had not been established, and appealed for anyone with information on the attacks to contact detectives in Ballymena.
Local politicians have condemned the attack on the family.
Elsewhere in Ballymena a fire at the town's Lantara estate is being treated as suspicious.
A house which was unoccupied at the time of the fire was badly damaged in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.

A 70-year-old Ballymena man has been jailed for an axe attack in the town in September 2020. At Laganside Court on Monday, 16th December, William Kirkpatrick, was jailed for nine years in connection with the assault at the Russellstown Road area of Ballymena on Monday 14th September 2020.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Boy Injured In Ballymena House Attack
A 15-month-old boy has been injured after a brick was thrown through the window of a house in Ballymena on Wednesday night. The infant was in the living room when the incident occurred at a property on the Moat Road at around 11.30pm. Paramedics treated the boy at the scene, however he did not need to be taken to hospital.
