Woman sexually assaulted in Belfast
Detectives in South Belfast are appealing for help after a 28-year-old woman suffered a serious sexual assault over the weekend.
It is under stood the woman was attacked and sexually assaulted after she left a nightclub in the Dunbar Link area sometime between midnight and 1am on Sunday.
Police believe the attack occurred after the woman became separated from her husband, and may have taken place in a side street in the vicinity of the Cathedral Quarter.
The alarm was raised after the woman was found lying unconscious at Nelson Street by a member of the public around 2.20am. Up to three men are thought to have been involved in the attack.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have information relating to the incident or may have information about the victim’s movements prior to when she was found at Nelson Street.
Anyone who can assist the police enquiry should contact police at Musgrave Street on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Pensioner attacked during burglary of her home
A 90-year-old woman was assaulted during a burglary of her home in Ballygowan, Co Down last night. The woman was confronted by a teenager after hearing noise in her kitchen. The youth then assaulted the elderly woman before escaping into an alley at the back of the house. Police believe an accomplice then joined the assailant.

Woman Sexually Assaulted In Omagh
Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may be able to assist the investigation.

Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash in Co Antrim. The collision, between a bus and a car, happened in Randalstown at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 11 February. A 58-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she sustained in the incident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man arrested after woman dies in collision
A 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road accident in County Down. A woman, believed to be in her 50s, was hit by a vehicle on the Comber Road in Newtownards at about 9.45pm last night. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
