Women escape injury in Orange Hall attack
A group of women have escaped injury during a petrol bomb attack on an Orange Hall in north Belfast on Tuesday.
Shortly after 9pm, a device was thrown at the building on the Whitewell Road, however it landed on a grassed area and burned out.
A number of items have been removed from the scene for further examination.
Elsewhere overnight, a house was targeted in a petrol bomb attack in Co Armagh.
Shortly after 9.30pm, five men armed with baseball bats approached the house in the Hillside avenue area of Hamiltonsbawn. The door and front windows of the property were smashed and a petrol bomb thrown into the living room, which subsequently ignited.
Four adults were in the house at the time of the attack and one 23-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated for superficial burns to his face and neck that were sustained whilst he was trying to tackle the fire. No one else was injured.
A motive for the attack has not yet been established however detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have seen a dark coloured car with five men on board in the area around the time of the attack, to come forward.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Appeal For Information On Petrol Bomb Attack In Coleraine
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack at a property in the Loughanhill Park area of Coleraine. Shortly after 1.20am on Monday 22nd August, emergency services were called to reports of a fire after a suspected petrol bomb had been thrown at the front of a property.

Sinn Féin Condemns Petrol Bomb Attack
Sinn Féin Councillor Niall Ó Donnghaile has condemned a further petrol bomb attack in the Short Strand area. Police are investigating the incident, which saw four petrol bombs thrown at an east Belfast interface around 10.30pm on Monday night.

House targeted in suspected petrol bomb attack
Police in Co Down are appealing for information following a suspected petrol bomb attack at a house in Saintfield. The incident occurred at a property on the Listooder Road at around 12.45am on Monday. Scorch damage was caused to the front door of the house and a door mat was also destroyed by the fire.
