Invest NI helps local firm find solution for business
Invest NI has helped to start up a new support company for the manufacturing industry called Aztech Engineering Solutions Ltd which is expected to create seven new jobs over the next two years.
Based in the Greenshoots incubation centre, Newry the company will have a strong export focus providing innovative engineering solutions for manufacturing companies across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
Aztech Engineering Solutions Ltd will work closely with its clients to help them overcome manufacturing problems by providing tailor made solutions such as, plant modification and refurbishment or on-site project management support.
Welcoming the creation of the new firm, Mark Bleakney, Regional Manager of Invest NI’s Southern Local Office said: “Aztech Engineering Solutions Ltd has a wealth of experience and support to offer the manufacturing industry. I am confident that the innovative solutions they provide will have a dramatic impact upon both their client’s competitiveness and profitability.”
The firm will also concentrate on its own specialist product development projects for use by the manufacturing industry. Currently the company has developed an automated leak testing machine for the sealed packaging used in the food and pharmaceutical sector and an automatic multiple ingredients dispenser for use specifically by food companies.
Invest NI has offered Aztech Engineering Ltd £49,076 worth of assistance (co-financed by the EU Building Sustainable Prosperity fund) towards total development costs of £220,196.
