Police investigate 'racially motivated' bomb attack
Police are treating a petrol bomb attack on a house in Co Armagh on Tuesday as "racially motivated".
The device was thrown at the property in Craigwell Avenue, Portadown, shortly after 10pm, causing scorch damage to a door. No one was inside the house at the time of the attack. The occupants are believed to be Latvian.
Elsewhere, a man has been shot on the outskirts of Belfast overnight. The victim was shot in the Colin Grove area of Dunmurry shortly before midnight. He was later treated for a wound to the leg.
There are no further details at present.

Man Shot In Both Legs In L'Derry
A man in his 30s has been shot several times in the legs in Co L'Derry. The shooting attack happened in the Rinmore Drive area at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, 09 August. The victim was shot in each ankle and once in the thigh. He is currently being treated in hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Bar In Coleraine Targeted In Arson Attack
A bar in Macosquin, Coleraine, has been targeted in an arson attack. The premises, located on Dunderg Road, was targeted at around 2.15am on Tuesday, 04 July. Two residents managed to extinguish the fire at the front door before emergency services attended the scene.

A 15-year-old boy has been treated for a broken leg and suspected broken arm after he was beaten in an attack at his County Down home. The teenager was in the bedroom of his house in the Johnston Park area of Carrowdore when three men forced their way in shortly before midnight last night and beat him with baseball bats.

Paint Bombs Thrown In Race Motivated Hate Crime
Police are treating a paint bomb attack on a house in Newtownabbey as a racially motivated hate crime. Two men, two women and a young child were inside the Fernagh Avenue house when it was targeted in the early hours of Sunday morning, 24 November. Red paint was splattered over the front of the property at around 00.25am.
