Three men injured in paramilitary-style shootings

Three men have been treated in hospital following separate paramilitary-style shootings over the weekend.

In the latest incident, two 21-year-old men suffered single gun shot wounds to their lower legs during an attack in the Tynan Drive area of Monkstown on Sunday evening.

Elsewhere, a man was shot in both legs during an attack in the Areema Drive area of Dunmurry shortly before 8.30pm on Saturday.

Jonesborough man beaten and shot by gang
A man is recovering in hospital after being shot in a paramilitary-style attack in Armagh last night. The 37-year-old victim was taken from a bar in Jonesborough, south Armagh, by two men at around midnight. When outside, the man was set upon by a gang of around five men who beat him with iron bars.

Man Shot In Both Legs In L'Derry
A man in his 30s has been shot several times in the legs in Co L'Derry. The shooting attack happened in the Rinmore Drive area at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, 09 August. The victim was shot in each ankle and once in the thigh. He is currently being treated in hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Petrol Bomb Thrown At Police Vehicle In Co Antrim
Two masked men threw a petrol bomb at a police vehicle in Co Antrim. The attack happened in the Castlemara Drive area in Carrickfergus at around 2.20am on Sunday, 29 May. The bomb hit the vehicle, however no damage was caused. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Attacked With Batons In Ballymoney
A 40-year-old man has been attacked with batons in Ballymoney. Police are describing it as a paramilitary-style attack. The man was beaten with batons at a property in the Alexandra Avenue area just after 8.30pm on Saturday, 28 October. Three masked men are believed to have entered the house and attacked the victim.
