Police appeal over missing teenager

Police have expressed concern at the disappearance of a teenage Co Down girl who has not been seen since last week.

Lyndsey McDade, 15, who is from Bangor, was last seen at William Street in Newtownards at around 10am on Thursday morning.

She is described as 5’ 4” tall, of medium build, with dark brown shoulder length hair that may be tied up in a ponytail. When last seen she was wearing a black top and white tracksuit bottoms and was carrying a pink handbag.

It’s believed she may be in the company of an older man in his 20’s from Scotland and both are thought to be travelling to Dundee.

Anyone who has seen Lyndsey or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact detectives at Newtownards on 028 9065 0222 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager girl was hit by a car on the Upper Newtownards Road at about 08:40 on Tuesday morning. The girl is currently in a serious condition in hospital. Police have arrested a man, aged in his 30s, in connection with the incident.

Missing Craigavon Pair Found 'Safe And Well'
Two people who went missing from the Craigavon area have been found safe and well. Chelsea McGarry, 17, and Daire McIlroy, 21, were reported missing on Tuesday, 29 March. They were believed to have been recently seen together at Dublin Airport. Police confirmed the pair have been found "safe and well".

Police are urging the public to be vigilant after a man was seen "acting erratically" in Bangor, Co Down. The male was walking out in front of traffic and trying to stop cars on the main Belfast Road out of Bangor at around 3pm on Monday, 23 October.

Police Appeal After Man Seen Holding Phone Over Cubicle In Bangor Complex
Police have launched an investigation after a man was seen holding a mobile phone "over the side of a cubicle" in the swimming pool changing area at the Aurora Leisure Complex in Bangor. The incident happened on Saturday 15 August at around 3pm.
