Armed men rob Belfast department store
Police are appealing for information after armed men robbed a department store in Belfast at the weekend.
The men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, held up staff at the Bureau de Change on the top floor of the Marks and Spencer’s store at Donegal Place, at around 1.30pm on Sunday. They then left with a sum of cash.
Two members of staff were treated for shock however no-one was injured.
Police are investigating a possible link between the robbery and the recovery of a silver Peugeot car at Grace Street in the city a short time later.
The two men involved were wearing baseball caps, sports type jackets, tracksuit bottoms and trainers and also had scarves over their faces.
Detectives are urging anyone who was in the store between 1.30pm and 2pm and who have not yet spoken to police to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Suspect Charged Over Maghera Robbery
A man has been charged after a filling station was robbed in Co Londonderry. The theft happened on 5 February in Maghera. Police said a number of masked men armed with handguns were involved in the incident. The 48-year-old male has been charged with robbery and firearms offences.

Teen Shooting Victim 'Serious'
A shooting in Co Londonderry has been slammed by police officers as "vicious". The victim, a 16-year-old boy who was shot in both legs in a house in Coleraine is lucky to be alive, the PSNI have said. They said that two masked and armed men forced their way into a house in the Crescent area of the town at about 10.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Brian McIlhagga
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Brian McIlhagga. A gang of masked men dragged the 42-year-old victim from a house in the Riverview Park area in Ballymoney on 05 January 2015. He was beaten and shot in a paramilitary-style attack.
