Police arrest man in connection with Lisa murder

Police have arrested a man in connection with the killing of Bangor woman Lisa Dorrian.

The 18-year-old man was arrested in the Greater Belfast area on Tuesday morning, detectives have confirmed.

Three men have already questioned about the killing but were later released.

On Monday, Lisa’s family released 26 white balloons to mark her 26th birthday.

She disappeared after a party at a caravan site in Ballyhalbert on 28 February. Her body has yet to be found.

Lisa's parents, John and Patricia, and her sisters, Joanne and Michelle, took part in the tribute.

Loyalist paramilitaries are thought to have been behind Lisa’s murder however last month the Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF) denied any involvement in the killing.

The family has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of her body.
