Easyjet launches new Belfast to Algarve route

Budget airline Easyjet has announced a new air route between Belfast and Faro in the Algarve.

The route, which is the tenth foreign flight route from Belfast by the airline, will begin operating on 16 July with one-way prices starting from £24.99.

The new service joins Easyjet’s other Belfast routes alongside Alicante, Amsterdam, Berlin, Geneva, Malaga, Nice, Palma, Paris and Rome, as well as a number of UK destinations.

Thursday’s announcement is more good news for the International Airport at Aldergrove following the start of a New York route by Continental Airlines last week.
