Six men arrested in counterfeit goods seizure
Six men have been arrested after counterfeit goods worth an estimated £60,000 were seized in south Belfast at the weekend.
CD’s, DVD’s and cigarettes were all seized during the planned police operation at a car boot sale in the Village area on Sunday.
Local police, the Organised Crime Squad, the Federation Against Copyright Thefts (FACT) and Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) were all involved in the operation.
The six men were later released pending further enquiries.

Dungannon men arrested in counterfeit probe
Two men have been arrested in Dungannon, County Tyrone, as part of a long-term investigation into counterfeiting. Police carried out 12 searches in the County Tyrone, County Fermanagh and County Armagh areas and said that the two men arrested on Sunday are aged 38 and 39.

Six men arrested in connection with paramilitary style shootings in west Belfast have been released unconditionally. The men, aged between 29 and 50, were detained by police on Monday, 28 November, following a number of searches. They were released unconditionally on Tuesday, 30 November.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Drugs seized in police raids
Four men have been arrested following police raids in Belfast. The men were detained in north Belfast, Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus, County Antrim. All are believed to be in their 30’s and detectives have said they were arrested as part of a pro-active operation against the illegal drugs trade.
