Detectives call on person who shot child to come forward
Police have appealed for the person who was responsible for the shooting of a five-year-old boy in Co Fermanagh last Friday to come forward.
Detectives say they still believe the shooting of Darragh Somers at St Patrick's Primary School was accidental, however they said this view may be revised if the person responsible does not come forward soon.
Darragh was in the playground at Mullinaskea Primary School, which is situated between Enniskillen and Tempo, with around 180 other pupils when he was struck in the head with what is believed to have been a stray bullet.
The incident, which occurred at around 1.50pm, has left him in a critical condition in hospital with serious head injuries.
