Police question man following fatal shooting
Police are questioning a man in connection with a fatal shooting in Co Down on Thursday.
Johnny Graham was shot as he parked his car at a house in the nationalist Ardcarne Park area of Newry at about 1am. The 20-year-old died in hospital a short time later.
At the same time shots were fired at another house in the same street as well as a house in the nearby Parkhead Crescent.
In a subsequent security operation in the area on Thursday night at least one petrol bomb and stones were thrown at security forces in the Derrybeg housing estate. There were no reports of injuries.
A motive for the murder of Mr Graham is still being investigated by detectives.

Detectives revisit murder scene
Detectives investigating the murder of Jonathan Graham in Newry last week have re-visited the scene of his shooting. Mr Graham was shot and fatally wounded in the early hours of Thursday morning as he parked his car outside his home at Ardcarne Park, Newry.

Belfast Hotel Plan Dropped: Report
A government-supported plan to build a hotel in central Belfast has been scrapped, the BBC has reported. Back in 2007, the Department for Social Development appointed Tullymore House Ltd as preferred developer for Armagh House in the city’s Ormeau Avenue, with plans to convert the building into an upmarket hotel.
