Lisburn firm announces £5m expansion plan
A £5 million expansion plan by a leading Lisburn manufacturer of composite components is to create over 30 new jobs.
Creative Composites Limited, which specialises in the design, manufacture and assembly of quality reinforced composite components for a diverse range of industries, plans to move to a new purpose built facility in the Knockmore Industrial Estate in Lisburn.
Roy Kelly, Managing Director at Creative Composites Limited, said that by moving to larger premises his company could accommodate the introduction of “innovative processing methods which will enable us to meet the growing requirements of both our current and future business partners”.
Brian Dolaghan, Director of Engineering and Business Services with Invest NI, which is co-funding the project, said: “This expansion programme represents a significant step in the development of Creative Composites Limited. By continuing to invest in research and development they will be able to offer new solutions for existing clients and secure new market opportunities.”
Invest NI has offered Creative Composites Limited selective financial assistance of £750,000, towards total project cost of just over £5 million. It is anticipated that the move will lead to the creation of 31 extra new jobs, boosting the company’s employee level to 110.
