33-year-old man dies following Belfast stabbing
A man has been stabbed to death following an incident in Belfast city centre at the weekend.
The 33-year-old victim is believed to have been stabbed during a brawl at a bar in May Street late on Sunday evening.
Found unconscious in Cromac Street, the man died later in hospital.
Another man, aged 31, was also taken to hospital with a stab wound but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police are appealing for information and especially anyone who may have been in the area at around 11pm when the incident took place.
Elsewhere, a 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder following trouble in Warrenpoint on Sunday.
During the incident two men, both believed to be in their 30’s, were stabbed and beaten during a disturbance at a house in the town.
A fight is believed to have broken out at the front of the house in the Marie Villas area shortly before 5am. Another man attacked the two victims with a knife and stabbed them. Both were treated for injuries to the head and body which are not believed to be life threatening.

Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.

Man dies following stabbing incident
A man has died following a stabbing incident in Co Down this morning. Police were called to the flat close to the centre of Bangor at around 3am after an alarm was raised. Inside they found the body of a man believed to be in his 60's who had been stabbed several times. A second man was also found with multiple stab wounds.

Man Released On Bail Over College Stabbing Incident
A man, 20, who was arrested in connection with a stabbing at a college in Belfast has been released on bail. Police said the man was released pending further enquiries. A 26-year-old is currently in hospital following the incident at Belfast Metropolitan College on Thursday. His condition is described as serious but stable.

Inspector Donna McGrady said police were alerted at about 1.15am by a member of the public on Bedford Street to a fight going on in the area.

Two questioned following stabbing
A man has been stabbed in the throat, ear and hands in a knife attack in County Down. The man, aged 27, was attacked at around 9.30pm on Sunday in the South Street area of Newtownards. He made his way to a house in Holywood and was then taken to hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
