Police not treating body find as 'suspicious'
Police have said they are not treating the death of a man in Co Down as suspicious.
The body of the 36-year-old man was found at a house in Sandy Street, Newry, at about 2.30pm on Tuesday. He had not yet been named on Wednesday afternoon.
It is unclear how long the body had been there however Wednesday's post mortem examination ruled out any suspicion behind the man's death.
A team of forensic specialists have carried out a detailed examination of the house which is part of a row of terraced houses that were recently renovated.
Elsewhere, a man's body has been recovered from the River Foyle at Prehen in Londonderry.
Members of Foyle Search and Rescue helped in the recovery of the body on Tuesday.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later today to determine the cause of death.
