Man sustains serious head injuries
A 32-year-old man is being treated in hospital for injuries he sustained after being attacked and beaten in west Belfast.
The man was found lying in Locan Street off the Falls Road with serious head injuries shortly before 2am on Monday.
It is believed up to three men attacked the victim before stabbing him with a broken bottle.
The man was taken to hospital where his condition was described as "stable".

Man Found With 'Serious Injuries' Dies In Hospital
A man found with serious injuries at his home in Newtownards has died in hospital. Police have named the man as 71-year-old John Trolan. He was discovered at his house in Mark Street area at approximately 10.30am on Thursday, 8 June. He was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to hospital. It is understood he died over the weekend.

Man Shot In Both Legs In West Belfast
An investigation has been launched after a man was shot in both legs in west Belfast. Police have said that the 20-year-old man was attacked at Ardmonagh Parade at about 10.30pm on Thursday, 12 April. The man is being treated in hospital for gunshot wounds to both legs.

Man Attacked With Batons In Ballymoney
A 40-year-old man has been attacked with batons in Ballymoney. Police are describing it as a paramilitary-style attack. The man was beaten with batons at a property in the Alexandra Avenue area just after 8.30pm on Saturday, 28 October. Three masked men are believed to have entered the house and attacked the victim.

Man Attacked In Belfast
A man has been attacked by a gang of men armed with hammers in Belfast. The assault happened in the Friendly Street area at around 3pm on Sunday, 03 December. The victim had to be taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
