Two pedestrians injured in hit-and-run incident
Two women have been injured following a hit-and-run incident in west Belfast on Sunday night.
The women, who are in their fifties, were knocked down by the car on the Falls Road just before midnight. They are currently being treated in hospital where both are said to be in a "stable" condition.
A car believed to have been involved in the incident was later found burnt out at Pembroke Loop in the Poleglass area.
One man has been arrested and is helping police with their enquiries.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact police on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

West Midlands Police To Investigate Incident Involving Police Ombudsman
The PSNI have asked West Midlands Police to investigate an alleged domestic incident at the home of Police Ombudsman Marie Anderson. It is understood that officers attended a "report of a domestic incident" at an address in Co Down on Saturday, September 23, at around 6.30pm.

Police have linked a gun attack on a police station on Wednesday night with a hostage incident in Co Antrim. A van used in the shooting of Randalstown PSNI station on Wednesday evening is believed to have been the vehicle stolen earlier in the evening from a family who were held hostage by a gang of men at a house in Craigstown Road in the town.

Major Incident Public Portal Open In John George Disappearance
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is assisting Spanish authorities in their search for a 37-year-old Belfast man who went missing while on holiday. John George, also known as John Hardy, was reported missing on 18th December. It is understood that he was last in contact with his family in Belfast on 14 December.
