Family escape injury in petrol-bomb attack
A family have escaped injury following a petrol-bomb attack on a house in north Belfast at the weekend.
A petrol bomb was thrown at the property at Somerdale Park off the Crumlin Road at around 11pm on Sunday.
The occupants, two adults and four children who were in the house at the time, were uninjured. Although one of the children, a 13-year-old boy, was in the room when a window was smashed.
Scorch damage was also caused to the front of the house where the device landed.
A motive for the attack has yet to be established and police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in Somerdale Park or the Crumlin Road between 10.30pm and 11pm to contact them.

Two die in separate road accidents
Two people have died and four were injured in two separate road accidents yesterday. In the first incident, a 30-year-old man died in hospital following a collision in County Antrim shortly after 3pm yesterday.

An armed gang which forced their way into a house in Larne has ordered a Protestant man and his Catholic girlfriend to leave the area within 24 hours. At around 11pm last night a masked gang forced their way into the couple's home on the loyalist Craigyhill estate in Larne.
