Woman dies after being knocked down by car
A woman has died after she was knocked down by a car in Co Londonderry at the weekend.
Agnes Murray, 60, of O'Neill Park, Magherafelt was walking along the main road between Toomebridge and Castledawson with a male companion when they were hit by the vehicle at around 11pm on Sunday.
The man is currently being treated in hospital and is said to be in a serious condition.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

Two men die in separate road accidents
A man has died following a car crash in Co Fermanagh at the weekend. The victim was a backseat passenger in a car which hit a pole at Rosscor near Beleek on Sunday. Two other men in the car were taken to hospital but are not thought to be in a serious condition.

Youths attack police in Londonderry
Police have been attacked by a gang of youths in Londonderry overnight. Petrol bombs and paint were thrown at officers during the trouble in Irish Street which lasted from 10pm to 1am. A tree was also knocked down by youths and used to block a road during the trouble. However there have been no reports of injuries or arrests.

Woman dies in car crash near Newry
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was killed in a road accident in Newry, Co Down late last night. The woman was a passenger in a car which crashed on the main Belfast Road in Newry at around 11pm on Thursday. Two other people travelling in the same vehicle were injured. The dead woman has not yet been named.

Man Arrested After Pedestrians Knocked Down In Belfast
A 37-year-old man has been arrested after two pedestrians were knocked down by a car that mounted the pavement in north Belfast. The car also crashed into another parked vehicle in the incident that occurred in the Brookvale Avenue area shortly after 7pm on Monday 03 December.

A man in his 30s has been shot in the leg in L'Derry. Police say the incident in the Magowan Park area of Creggan on Wednesday night, 18 March, has all the hallmarks of a paramilitary-style attack. The victim has been taken to hospital for treatment.
