Hooded gunman robs ATM cash delivery
Police in south Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at an ATM machine on the Stranmillis Road on Tuesday.
Shortly before 2pm, cash delivery drivers were re-filling the machine when a hooded man armed with a handgun approached them.
The robber demanded the cash box from the employee before making off in a nearby green Seat Leon car with two other men.
The vehicle was found a short time later in Upper Stanfield Street in the Markets area of the city with the cash box in the back seat. The contents of the box, a substantial sum of cash, had not been taken.
The three culprits are described as in their early twenties, tall, thin and wearing jeans, trainers and sports tops.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery or the culprits make their getaway is asked to contact CID at Musgrave Street on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.

Industry urges NI to ‘play safe’ with cash cards
Cash machine users were today advised to keep playing safe when making cash withdrawals, despite fraudulent cash withdrawals in Northern Ireland falling by 8% to £368,000 over the past year. However, despite a fall in Northern Ireland figures the rest of the UK saw an average rise of 85% in fraudulent cash withdrawals over the same period.

Armed gang steal cash box during robbery
An armed gang has held up a cash delivery van in Londonderry on Thursday. The robbery occurred at the Rathmor centre in Blighs Lane where three men armed with handguns and a shotgun threatened and assaulted a security guard as he returned to his vehicle around 11:10am. The gang then made off with a cash box in a nearby car.

'ATM' Robbers Fire Shot
Armed raiders have fired a shot into the air, before making off with a cash box as a delivery was being made at premises in Co Tyrone. An armed and masked man approached a security firm employee as he delivered money at a petrol station on Oaks Road Dungannon, at about 1pm on Monday.

Cash box taken in armed raid
There has been an armed robbery of a cash van at an ATM in Dundonald this morning. A police spokesperson said that a security guard was making a delivery at an ATM on the Upper Newtownards Road when he was approached by a man armed with a knife. The man demanded the cash box and fled in a waiting maroon coloured car.
