Jobseekers urged to sign up for Job Scene Odyssey
Hundreds of job vacancies will be up for grabs at Job Scene Northern Ireland – where 60 exhibitors from all sectors of industry will be on show for jobseekers.
The Belfast event, which is held in association with the Department for Employment and Learning, will offer a range of vacancies ranging from store manager, IT technical support and mental health nurses, to management trainee vacancies, sales consultants, personal secretaries, centre switchboard operators and cooks.
In addition to the main exhibition floor there will also be stage displays, topical seminars, advice clinics and dedicated Skills and Retail Sectors.
Among the exhibitors will be the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association Northern Ireland (RFCA NI) who are looking for systems engineer technicians, electricians, drivers, recovery mechanics, chefs, medical technicians and general administration roles.
Abbey bank will also be at Job Scene looking for outbound and inbound customer tele-advisers. Lorraine O'Dwyer, resourcing consultant of Abbey, said: "We are looking for bright, positive, PC literate people who will make the most of all the training we give them."
Job Scene, which will take place at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on September 23 & 24, runs from 10am to 4pm, with a special evening opening from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, and begins again at 10am to 3pm on Friday. A free bus will run from City Hall (outside Bradford & Bingley) from 9.30am.
The event is free and a full listing of all exhibitors and their vacancies can be found in the show programme handed out to visitors upon arrival at the event.
