Two children injured after bus is stoned

Police are appealing for information after two children were injured when their bus was stoned in Co Antrim yesterday.

The incident occurred at the junction of the Antrim Road and Ballyclare Road in Glengormley at about 5pm.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital suffering from a cut to his face while a 14-year-old girl was treated for shock.

There are no further details at present.

Petrol bombs thrown during disturbances in Ardoyne
Rival groups have clashed last night in north Belfast with petrol bombs, stones and bottles being thrown shortly after 8.30pm. A police vehicle was also stoned during the attack, however there were no reported injuries. The incident follows disturbances in the area on Saturday night. The area is now described as being calm.

Man Dies Following Collision In Ballymoney
A 21-year-old man has died after he sustained serious injuries in a car crash in County Antrim almost three weeks ago. John Reid, from Ballymena, was one of two men injured in the single car collision on the Kilraughts Road on 30 August. Mr Reid died in hospital on Thursday. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
