Woman dragged along road by car thief
A woman has been injured after being dragged along a road by her own car as it was driven away by a thief.
The incident took place at about 6pm yesterday evening as the victim was collecting her son from school in Templepatrick.
The thief had just got out of a blue Ford Escort car when he stole the victims Mercedes Jeep with her arm still jammed in the door. The vehicle had travelled around 30ft before she was able to free herself.
The 36-year-old woman was treated in hospital for her injuries and police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

A Sinn Féin MLA has helped tackle a would-be car thief in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Mr Gerry Kelly said he was woken up by noise close to his house at around 5am. Car Thief Teen Dies In Crash
A 16-year-old boy has died after crashing a stolen car in north Belfast, police confirmed this morning. The boy was driving the car on the Upper Crumlin Road after midnight when the collision happened. It is believed the stolen blue Peugeot 206 collided with a red Audi A2.

Two women attacked in separate robberies
Two women have been injured in two separate robberies in Co Antrim and Co Londonderry. In Belfast a woman was treated in hospital last night after being stabbed outside a supermarket in north Belfast. The woman was the victim of an attempted mugging outside a Tesco shopping centre on the Ballygomartin Road at around lunchtime.
