Second multi-million pound lottery winner for NI

A multi-million pound winning lottery ticket has been bought in Northern Ireland for the second time in two months.

The £7 million ticket was bought in Belfast a month ago but has yet to be claimed.

The winner, with the numbers 3, 5, 8, 18, 28 and 48, was successful on the 7 August draw for a £7,039,469 jackpot.

National Lottery operator Camelot said the deadline for the ticket-holder to collect their winnings was 3 February 2005.

Last month a Belfast woman who is undergoing treatment for cancer claimed her £20.1 million National Lottery winnings after failing to check her numbers for a whole month. Iris Jeffrey, 58, who bought the ticket on 14 July, only checked her ticket late last month after hearing an appeal by lottery organisers Camelot.
