Ecstasy recovered in Co Down

Police have recovered ecstasy worth an estimated street value of £50,000 in Co Down. The drugs were found in the Millisle area yesterday, however there were no arrests.

Elsewhere, a 14-year-old girl is expected to appear before a court in Newry today charged with three counts of burglary and one of attempted burglary. The charges relate to a number of incidents in the Newry and Mourne and South Down areas over the last week.

Man Charged Over Burglaries
A man, aged 31, has been charged with a number of burglaries and hijackings. The offences occurred in the south Armagh area on 20 December 2013. He was charged with attempted burglary, three counts of burglary, two counts of hijacking and criminal damage. He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on 9 July.

19-Year-Old Charged With Attempted Murder In North Belfast
The PSNI have charged a 19-year-old man with attempted murder in connection with a number of incidents in north Belfast. It is understood the man has been detained following a knife attack at Annesley Street at around 4pm on Sunday 12 December. A number of other incidents followed on Vicinage Park and Cranburn Street.

Pair Charged With Over 40 Offences In Connection With Robberies Across NI
Two men have been charged with several offences in connection with robberies across Northern Ireland. The suspects, aged 32 and 37, have been charged with over 40 offences each in relation to burglaries in Dungannon, Newcastle and west Belfast.

The High Court has heard how a man was allegedly attacked by his partner, who then set his home on fire, according to the BBC. BBC Northern Ireland has reported how Ciaran Fleming, 20, of no fixed abode, is accused of beating up the victim and causing damage to the apartment.
