Weapons uncovered in west Belfast
Police uncovered a cache of weapons during the search of a cemetery in west Belfast yesterday.
Two handguns, shotgun cartridges and other items were discovered by officers in the grounds of the cemetery at Hannahstown Hill on Wednesday afternoon.
The area was immediately cordoned off as Army Technical Officers examined the items which were subsequently removed for further examination.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at Woodbourne on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
