Police attacked in Londonderry
Police have been attacked for the third time in the space of a week in Londonderry.
Around 100 people were involved in the trouble which started in the Irish Street area of the city at around 11pm on Tuesday.
Stones, bottles and bricks were thrown at officers while two petrol bombs hit a police vehicle which had been called to the scene.
No one was injured in the attacks which ended following intervention from community representatives.
Police have appealed for anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Fire crews attacked by stone throwing youths
A fire crew has come under attack while attending a blaze in County Londonderry yesterday evening. The fire service were called to the scene of a suspected arson attack at a farm building on the Whitehouse Road area of Coshquin, at around 10pm when the attack happened.

Police Attacked In Londonderry
Police have again come under attack during disturbances in Londonderry on Thursday night. Trouble broke out at about 8.00pm on Thursday in Magazine Street and no officers were injured. Officers were confronted by a gang of youths throwing bricks and bottles and a number of parked vehicles were damaged during the trouble.

Fire crews and police attacked in Londonderry
Fire crews and police have come under attack in Londonderry as they attended a fire at a car repair compound yesterday morning. The blaze at the premises on Corrody Road in the Gobnascale area is understood to have started at around 4.00am yesterday morning and several cars and vehicle tyres were damaged.

Death Stalks Roads Once More
The Province's tragic death toll continues to rise with news that a second person has died following a road traffic accident in County Londonderry, police have said. The two vehicle collision happened on Duncastle Road, Newbuildings, at about 5.45pm on Wednesday.
