Police launch murder investigation
Detectives investigating the death of 35-year-old Peter Gamble in Larne have launched a murder enquiry.
Mr Gamble's body was discovered at a house in Roddens Lane, shortly before 6am on Tuesday.
Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses and in particular want to speak to four young people who are believed to have been standing at the bottom of Roddens Lane at around 12.30am on the morning of his death.
It is understood that an altercation between the deceased and another man took place at around 1am after which he was taken to a nearby house where he later died.
Anyone who can help with the investigation is asked to contact detectives in Larne.

Inmate attacks Prison Officers
Three Prison Officers are believed to have been attacked by an inmate at a Co Antrim jail this morning. The assault took place at Maghaberry Prison at around 8.30am on Tuesday. The officers are said to have suffered cuts and bruises to their hands and faces.

Belfast Hotel Plan Dropped: Report
A government-supported plan to build a hotel in central Belfast has been scrapped, the BBC has reported. Back in 2007, the Department for Social Development appointed Tullymore House Ltd as preferred developer for Armagh House in the city’s Ormeau Avenue, with plans to convert the building into an upmarket hotel.
