Elderly couple die in road crash
An elderly couple have died following a road traffic collision in Co Down last night.
The couple, named as David Cromie (73) and his wife Elizabeth (68) from De Wind Drive, were driving along the Killinchy Road, near Comber, at around 6pm when their vehicle collided with a lorry.
The couple were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while the driver of the lorry is believed to have suffered minor injuries and shock.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and have appealed for witnesses to contact them.

Police are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and identify all of the vehicles involved. The PSNI are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
