Pensioner confronted by teenage robbers
Police are appealing for information after an 80-year-old woman was robbed at her home in Co Tyrone yesterday evening.
The pensioner was confronted at her house Parkview Fold, Castlederg, at about 10.30pm on Monday by two youths who had broken in though a back window.
The pensioner confronted the teenagers in the hallway, however they grabbed her claiming to be police officers, before making off with her handbag.
Although the woman was not believed to have been injured she was badly shaken by the attack.
Anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact police immediately.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Appeal Issued To Trace Missing Pensioner From Co Antrim
Police have issued an appeal to help trace a missing 81-year-old woman from Co Antrim. Marjorie Roebuck from Broughshane was last seen on Wednesday, 07 September. Police said they are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the PSNI.

Elderly woman confronted by intruder in own home
Police in Newtownards are appealing for information after a man broke into an elderly woman's home at the weekend. The intruder, who is described as being in his mid 20s, was confronted by 87-year-old Maria Coulter at around 7pm on Sunday.

Pensioner attacked during burglary of her home
A 90-year-old woman was assaulted during a burglary of her home in Ballygowan, Co Down last night. The woman was confronted by a teenager after hearing noise in her kitchen. The youth then assaulted the elderly woman before escaping into an alley at the back of the house. Police believe an accomplice then joined the assailant.
