DPP member receives bullets in post
The latest in a long line of threats against DPP members continued today after the chairman of a district policing partnership in Co Down had bullets sent to him in the post.
Eamonn O'Neill found the ammunition in a sympathy card sent to his constituency office in Downpatrick on Thursday.
The SDLP councillor said those responsible were "faceless, fascist cowards" who would not deter either him or his colleagues in the SDLP "from achieving our goal of delivering accountable and representative policing for all our community".
Police confirmed they were investigating a report of intimidation in the Downpatrick area.
Last month, several packages containing white powder were sent to members of the SDLP and the headquarters of the Policing Board.
SDLP assembly member, Pat Ramsey, was targeted when an envelope containing Mass cards and powder arrived at his home in Londonderry. Party leader Mark Durkan also received a similar package to his home in the city.
In Belfast, packages were also sent to the headquarters of the Policing Board on the Ormeau Road and to a party member and a DPP delegate in Cookstown.

Former SDLP Leader To Stand For Fine Gael
Former SDLP leader Mark Durkan is set to run as an election candidate for Fine Gael in the upcoming European elections in May. It comes after the Stormont party recently announced its partnership with Fianna Fáil. The former Foyle MP will return as a Fine Gael candidate for Dublin. Mr Durkan led the SDLP from 2001 to 2010, succeeding John Hume.

John Hume Awarded 'Greatest' Honour
Former SDLP stalwart, John Hume has spoken of his "tremendous honour" at being awarded the prize of 'Ireland's Greatest'. An RTÉ programme had whittled a top 40 contenders down to five this week, with viewers in the Irish Republic then voting the former SDLP leader to the top spot.

Former SDLP councillor's home paint bombed
The home of a former SDLP councillor has suffered damage in an attack in County Tyrone last night. Anne Bell, who is also a former member of the Strabane District Policing Partnership, had three paint bombs thrown at her house on Knockavoe Crescent on the Ballycolman Estate, at around 8pm.
