Witness Appeal After Five-Vehicle Collision on Belfast's Queens Bridge
Police in Belfast are appealing for witnesses following a five-vehicle collision on Queens Bridge in the city centre on Tuesday 8th April.
Sergeant Wilson said: "We received a report just after 4.40pm that four vehicles had been damaged in a collision.
"Our enquiries to date indicate that a fifth vehicle, a black Volkswagen Golf R, may also have been involved and we are keen to speak to the driver.
"One of the drivers sustained serious injuries, though thankfully it's not believed that these are life-threatening at this time.
"We would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it, to contact police. "We would be particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has relevant dashcam or other footage.
"The number to call is 101, quoting reference 1288 of 08/04/25."
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it, particularly the driver of a black Volkswagen Golf R or anyone with dashcam footage, to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1288 of 08/04/25.
Alternatively, a report can be submitted online using the non-emergency reporting form at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

Woman Dies Following Collision In Newtownabbey
A woman has died in hospital following a collision on the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey on Monday, 13th January. Shortly before 6.15pm, police received a report of a collision involving a grey Seat Ateca and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 80s, was taken to hospital but has since died as a result of her injuries.

A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.
