Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Portadown Collision
A young man from the Tandragee area has tragically died following a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Portadown in the early hours of Sunday, 6th April.
The PSNI has named the deceased as 18-year-old Morgan Henry.
The collision, involving a blue BMW 330 and a red Vauxhall Corsa, occurred on the Dungannon Road at approximately 1:40 am. Officers from the PSNI and other emergency services attended the scene. Sadly, Mr Henry, who was driving the Corsa, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four occupants of the BMW received medical treatment for their injuries following the incident. Roads Inspector Cherith Adair, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: "At approximately 1.40am police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the Dungannon Road involving a blue BMW 330 and a red Vauxhall Corsa. Officers along with colleagues from other emergency services attended but sadly Morgan, the driver of the Corsa, was declared deceased at the scene. Four occupants of the BMW have received medical treatment following the collision. The Dungannon Road was closed for a number of hours but has now re-opened.
"Our officers at the Collision Investigation Unit are examining the circumstances of the collision and we would ask anyone who may have witnessed what happened or anyone with CCTV, dash-cam or other footage that could assist with our enquiries, to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 105 06/04/25."
The Dungannon Road was closed for a number of hours to allow for investigation work to be carried out but has since been reopened.

A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Mr Caddell, 22, died following the two-vehicle collision involving a car and a lorry on Monday, 10 April. The incident happened on the Manse Road at around 10.50am.
