Clady Security Alert Ends After Object Declared 'Nothing Untoward'
A security alert in Clady, County Tyrone, has concluded following overnight investigations into a suspicious object found in the Urney Road area.
The object was discovered shortly after 8 pm on Tuesday, 25 March, prompting a public safety operation that led to the evacuation of a number of residents from their homes. Army Technical Officers were called to the scene to examine the object. Following their assessment, it was declared as nothing untoward.
The security alert ended shortly before 3.40 am today, Wednesday, 26 March, and residents who had been evacuated were informed that they could return to their properties.
Police have expressed their gratitude to the local community, particularly those residents who were affected, for their understanding and cooperation during the incident.

Suspicious Object Found In L'Derry

A number of people have been evacuated from their homes and police officers have sealed off the area. The residents are being accommodated in the Shantallow Community Centre.

A suspicious object has been found during a security alert in Dundonald on Wednesday afternoon. Residents had to be evacuated from their homes on Wanstead Road during the alert. The object has been taken for further examination. The roads in the area have been re-opened.

Security Alert Underway In Belfast
A security alert is currently underway in Belfast. It is understood there have been reports of a suspicious object found in the Tates Avenue area of the city. As a result, the road has been closed between Boucher Road roundabout and Lorne Street. Police and army bomb experts are in attendance at the scene. No other details have been released.

East Belfast Security Alert 'Nothing Untoward'
A security alert that closed a busy road in east Belfast on Thursday evening has been declared as "nothing untoward". Residents on the Belmont Road were evacuated from their homes after a suspicious object was discovered under a vehicle at Strathearn School. It's understood to have been found under a teacher's car.
