Police appeal after Co Antrim armed robberies
Police have appealed for information in relation to two armed robberies which occurred in Co Antrim yesterday.
At around 4.45pm yesterday, two men, armed with a handgun and a knife, entered a shop on the Doagh Road, Ballyclare. They threatened staff but left short time later empty-handed.
Shortly afterwards, a travel agents on the Ballyclare Road, Glengormley, was held up by two robbers.
As in the first attempted robbery, the pair were armed with a handgun and a knife. The men made off with a sum of money and credit cards belonging to members of staff.
Police believe that both incidents were connected and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Police Appeal Following Two Armed Robberies In North And South Belfast
Police are appealing for information in connection with two armed robberies in north and south Belfast. A man, armed with a knife, threatened staff at a shop on the Ravenhill Road at around 8.20pm on Friday, 01 April. A sum of money was taken and the man got into a silver car which was parked on My Lady's Road.

Newtownabbey robberies may be linked
Police in Newtownabbey have appealed for information on two armed robberies in the town. The first incident happened at around 9.45pm yesterday, when two males, armed with a handgun, entered a supermarket in Abbot's Cross on the Dough Road. The robbers threatened staff before making off on foot, with an undisclosed sum of money from the till.

Police appeal after Belfast robberies
Police are appealing for information following two separate robberies in Belfast yesterday. The first of these took place in the north of the city yesterday morning at a Bookmakers on the Crumlin Road. At around 9.50am, the manager was opening his premises when he was approached by a man who ordered him not to turn around.

Man arrested after armed robbery
One man has been arrested following an armed robbery at a petrol station in north Belfast last night. At around 9pm, two men armed with a knife and a handgun entered the petrol station on the Doagh Road in Mossley, Newtownabbey, and demanded money. They threatened a member of staff and were given a small amount of cash.
