Police Investigate Theft From Grave In Omagh
Police are investigating the reported theft of a granite memorial object from a grave in Omagh.
On Tuesday, 25 February police received a report that at approximately 11.20am a granite memorial object had been removed from a grave in the Blackfort Road area of the town. It is understood that the theft occurred sometime between Sunday, 23 February and Monday, 24 February. No damage was caused to the grave. Sergeant Johnny Hamill said: "Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding this theft, and we would be keen to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area, to report it to police on 101, quoting reference number 565 25/02/25."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Arrested In Connection With Fuel Theft
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of diesel theft from a property in the Ballymagorry area of Strabane last night, Tuesday, 11th October. The arrest followed the report of alleged diesel theft from an address on Ballyheather Road shortly after 10pm where a red Berlingo van was also found at the address and abandoned.
